Nordic PV - a nordic scientific project on solar electricity

Nordic PV is an integrated Nordic research project on solar
electricity between 5 research institutions coordinated by Institute
for Energy Technology (IFE). The aim of the project is to stimulate
research and development related to solar electricity in order to
strengthen the commercial development of solar cells in the Nordic
countries. The project cover selected topics from materials to system
integration. The project has been successful in forming a very strong
collaboration between the Nordic research institutions. This has been
achieved through integrated research tasks with high mobility of
scientific personnel between the institutions and mutual access to
characterization facilities and processing equipment. In addition, the
network building/strengthening activities have been a success, starting
from more or less zero to a well-established contact network build
through seminars and workshops.
