PhD in Chemistry, Dresden Technical University in December 2004.
Field of Expertise:
Hydrogen storage. The main field of interest is the study of metastable metallic alloys and nanostructured composite materials. The experimental approach has focused on the synthesis using non-equilibriumprocessing techniques (e.g. ball milling, rapid solidification), as well as on the structural and microstructural characterization by power diffraction techniques.
Research and Academic Activities:
- Lecturer at the "Postgraduate School on Renewable Energies", in January 2009 (Elmas, Italy) and July 2007 (Monteponi, Italy).
- Postdoc in RENERGI-projects (Norwegian Research Council) 2005-2008.
- Peer Reviewer for the following Journals: Nanotechnology, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Advanced Engineering Materials, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy
