Visual Interface Technologies

ife The Visual Interface Technologies division performs research and development work related to process visualisation and advanced 3D applications.

The Visual Interface Technologies division is specialised in the areas of process visualisation, virtual and augmented reality, and mobile computing applications.

IFE has over thirty years of experience in the management and graphical visualisation of information related to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems. Through the application of our extensive knowledge of human factors and user-interface design, our goal is to enable end-users to gain rapid insights based on appropriately processed information.

Through our research, we conceive and test techniques that we later utilise in our products and industrial projects to deliver high-value solutions to solve complex challenges.

We have particular expertise in applying visual interface technologies to the follow areas:

  • Design and evaluation of control centres
  • Training simulators
  • Real-time process visualisation and control
  • Operations and maintenance training
  • Decommissioning
  • Work planning and simulation
  • Radiation visualisation
