Multiphase Flow Technology: Multiphase Pipeline Flow R&D at IFE - a major activity in department Process and Fluid Flow Technology.
Materials Processing: The Materials Processing section is mainly performing contract research for Norwegian and international aluminium and steel industries.
Simulator Technology: Section Simulation Technology develops methods, mathematical models and software applications for dynamic simulation of industrial processes. The simulators are used for process engineering and training of operators. The section also develops methods and data systems for monitoring, control and optimization of such processes.
