Process and Fluid Flow Technology

The Process and Fluid Flow Technology department develops knowledge of and software for development and operation of multi-phase pipelines and process plants. The department develops software for analysis of casting and welding of aluminium and steel.

The main R&D-areas are:

Development and verification of fundamental multiphase fluid flow models.
Development of software to simulate multiphase process components.
Development of models and software for process simulators.
Development of the software ALSIM for simulation of casting of aluminium and steel.
Development of the software WELDSIM for simulation of welding of aluminium and steel.
