Experiment Planning and Reporting
Approximately 16 to 20 people work in the division, depending in part on the number of scientists from participant organisations attached to the division. These secondees usually spend between one and two years in the division before returning to their home organisations. Over the past three years there have been between 5 and 8 secondees in the division at any given time. The EPR Division works in close co-operation with the Experiment Engineering (EE), Test Rig Design and Production (TRDP), Reactor Operation and Engineering (ROE) and Radiation Protection (RP) Divisions in Halden and the Nuclear Material Technology Department at Kjeller. A total of 12 investigations are currently being performed in the fuel and materials area within the Joint Programme and five of the longer-term studies (listed below) are described in more detail, see "Projects" in the menu to the right.
