Procedure validation. COPMA-III is used to simulate operator actions thus automatically controlling the BWR simulator TRETA developed by CSN in Spain. The combination of the COPMA system and the TRETA simulator is used as part of the Integrated Safety Assessment (ISA) tool. ISA is an approach to safety assessment which provides a systematic analysis methodology based on an extension of PSA.
